Follow the Journey of the Great Migration
The Great Migration is the seasonal movement of vast herds of wildebeest, accompanied by zebras and other wildlife, through the Serengeti ecosystem and neighbouring areas.
The location of the herds changes throughout the year in response to rainfall, grazing conditions and the availability of fresh grass. This means that safari timing and route planning are important when deciding where to explore.
Temvora Safaris can help you plan a journey around your travel dates, preferred accommodation and wildlife interests. Because wildlife moves freely, specific sightings and river crossings cannot be guaranteed.

Timing Your Adventure
Plan Around the Wildlife, Not Just the Calendar
The migration follows seasonal rainfall and grazing conditions. The location of the herds can change from one year to the next, so a successful planning process considers both your travel dates and current wildlife information.
Before confirming your trip, discuss your preferred month, the length of your stay and the wildlife experiences that matter most to you. Your route can then be planned accordingly.
No itinerary can guarantee a particular river crossing or animal sighting. Flexibility helps make the most of the conditions encountered during your journey.
